As part of WFDF’s Strategic Plan and Objectives, we are happy to announce the launch of WFDF Academy, a comprehensive learning platform designed to support the global Flying Disc Sports’ community.

Name	WFDF Academy
Description	WFDF Academy is the official education platform of the World Flying Disc Federation. WFDF Academy offers comprehensive education opportunities for athletes, coaches, teachers and other stakeholders involved in Flying Disc Sports at different levels throughout the world to gain knowledge and improve competencies. Raising Standards Worldwide: Quality coaching and experiences are vital to the development of Flying Disc sports at every level. WFDF Academy ensures education is accessible to any country where the sport is practiced, improving the understanding and standards among different stakeholders. Created by Flying Disc Leaders: Certification courses, activities and training on WFDF Academy are designed with the support of top coaches and experts from some of the world’s most successful countries, as well as consultation from experts in education and development. Accessible and Open Professional Development: WFDF Academy offers a number of no-cost, self-study continued professional development mini-courses open to completion at any time, which offer certificates and badges. Mini-Courses (self-study microlearning courses) available at launch include: Introduction to WFDF Safeguarding Essentials Preventing Competition Manipulation Organizing Gender-Equitable Tournaments It also features the Introduction to the Disc Discipline series of Mini-Courses, which provides the basics of the rules, history, and key skills of each major Flying Disc discipline. WFDF Academy is accessible globally, allowing users to create an account at no cost and engage with content at their own pace and convenience. Courses and resources will continue to be added to WFDF Academy in the future so look for future updates.
