Copy / paste from OVD desktop

In Ulteo OVD 3.0.3, I cannot paste a document located on the OVD desktop to any other location. 

I am able to copy / paste it only if I open the file manager ("Home" shortcut on desktop), navigate to the desktop, and then from within that file manager copy and paste it to the desired location.

If I right-click right on the desktop on an item, I do get a menu with a "Copy" option. But selecting this, and then navigating to any other location, trying to paste it does not work - the "Paste" option is grayed out. 

There is a certain loss of intuitive behavior - it would be nice to handle this point.
