New Ulteo HTML5 client for Linux and Windows virtual desktops. Beta ready to try! Watch the video.

September 12th 2012 - HTML5 is poised to become rapidly a de facto
standard. The Ulteo team has been busy developing an Ulteo HTML5 client for
virtual Windows and Linux desktops. The development has been done in
collaboration with Guacamole, the HTML5-client Open Source project. It has
been a very productive and exciting collaboration between our respective
products.

In Q1 2012 Ulteo has also introduced new dedicated clients for Android and
Ipad, which are available on the various application stores. Those are
Premium modules like our Gateway module. Even if the Ulteo HTML5 is
structurally more limited on the features side than the dedicated clients,
it will allow many users to fulfill most frequent usages with it, such as:
"using applications, copy-pasting, printing" on both regular computers and
tablets.

All these benefits are available with the most modern web browsers that
support HTML5. It works out of the box with a proper Ulteo OVD
infrastructure but without the need to install a specific client software
on the user side.

A first beta version of this Ulteo HTML5 client is now available for
