Hi all,

I have installed Ulmo on a Windows32 machine running Windows 7. I also use pythonxy. Unfortunately, after installing the Ulmo module I have been unable to use Spyder as my IDE in Pythonxy. This has happened twice. Not sure what settings are being changed, but would like to be able to use both Ulmo and Spyder. Thanks for any advice.

Hi Wade,

ulmo is a fairly simple pure python module, I can't think of anything that could cause spyder to crash. The only idea I have is that one of the optional dependencies of ulmo is pytables which relies on hdf5. Those libraries are basically python wrappers on top of C++ codebases and maybe they are causing the crash?

I don't use spyder so I can't really help much.
