Making such a check across the board in ulmo would take some effort, and it's probably not useful. Some services are based on HTTP. But many (or all?) US federal services recently migrated to HTTPS, which cause some pain across the board. I believe many / most such ulmo services either have been converted to HTTPS, or there is information available on how to install ulmo such that there's a seamless jump from HTTP to HTTPS:I hope that helps. Dharhas will have a better and more definitive answer.

Can someone verify that the latest version of ulmo (0.8.4) uses HTTPS to access data, rather than HTTP?I am not an expert user of Python and do not know how to verify this information in the package myself.Thank you,Katie
