GSOD ULMO

Dear all,

FYI  GSODR is a recent R package working in R environment (R or R studio)  allowing to extract GSOD daily data too and unit conversion from States Customary System (USCS) to International System of Units (SI).

Please does ULMO allow units conversion?

Does somebody did extarction time laps comparaison with other packages?

Not sure what you are asking. ulmo has no relation to GSODR. It is an independent package for use in Python. Currently ulmo does not deal with units, it just retrieves the data in whatever units it is already in. There are other python packages like 'pint' that can be used for unit conversion but you will first need to look at the data/gsod website to work out what units the data is in and then you can use something like 'pint' to convert units. I am not aware of anyone doing speed comparisons with other packages.
