I recently updated to the newest version of ulmo (0.7.8).  I am trying to download all groundwater depth to water level ('72019') data for Cache County, Utah ('county': '49005')

The following code only retrieves one station ('414316111500101'):
usgssite = ulmo.usgs.nwis.get_sites(county_code='49005', site_type='GW')

when I know that there are several wells in the valley that have multiple groundwater level readings in NWIS. How would I go about querying all historical water level data for the entire county using ulmo?

On a similar note, I am also interested in obtaining all available NWIS groundwater chemistry data for the county using ulmo. Could someone please provide me with a recipe or example of how I could do this?

Thanks in advance for any help that any of you could provide.

I love ulmo and have written a blog post on it's use: http://earthpy.org/flow.html

The ulmo get_sites call was written a while ago. It hits the instantaneous values (iv) and the daily values (dv) USGS webservices to get the list of sites, so it only shows sites that are part of the iv or dv rest webservices. It does not show sites that are not part of the iv/dv services since we can't currently download that data with ulmo anyway.

if you try:

you can see you get one site for that county.

If you look at the newer usgs sites tool http://waterservices.usgs.gov/rest/Site-Test-Tool.html

you have several other types of manually collected data, like site visits etc,

the data from these services are available (I think) from two separate services called Groundwater Levels Service &  Water Quality Service

The USGS site tool, the groundwater levels and the wq service are not implemented in ulmo currently. If you are interested in adding those in, I'd welcome the contribution and can probably give you some guidance.

hope that helps.
