Roaches Trip 27th - 29th

Hey everyone, we've got a trip to an area of the Peak District called the Roaches coming up this month on the 27th. The trip list will be opening Friday at 7pm so make sure you get a place!

We will be staying in the BMC Don Whillan's hut (https://www.thebmc.co.uk/don-whillans-memorial-hut) which is so close to the cliff its actually built into it! As usual the cost will be £40 including accommodation, food at the hut, transport and equipment use.

Anyone of any experience is more than welcome to come along but due to how close the hut is to the crag and the great opportunity for climbing this gives we will be prioritising people interested in rock climbing over hiking. Don't worry though if you haven't done any climbing before but still want to try climbing out-doors on the trip, just make sure you arrange a time with us to come to mile end so we can go through the basics with you! If you haven't done so already or have only just joined the club you will need to join ULMC online via the student central website if you want to come on the trip. What we do will be dependent on the weather but we will be climbing if at all possible.

To sign up: Email ulmctr...@gmail.com after 7pm on Friday 20th March to reserve a place and then we'll need payment to secure it! Either meet us at Mile End on the following Tuesday or contact member of the committee to arrange an alternative method of payment.
