ULMC THIS WEEK 2: Thursday Skating on Ice and Saturday Day Walk

Hi All,
This email is to let you know about Thursday's ice skating social and Saturday's day walk. Both are weather permitting however*
SOCIAL: Thursday 26th November, ice skating at Somerset house outdoor ice rink. Adult tickets cost £10.50 (there are student discounts - at £7.50 - however we would have to go at 16.15, which works for me, but probably not most of you). We are going to meet outside Somerset House ice skating ticket office at 18.00. We will buy tickets for the 18.45 there and then (we have to arrive early to buy the tickets, because the on the day tickets often sell out) and then head for beer/coffee/food (whatever those who turn up prefer) whilst we wait for our time. Please don't feel put off if you can't skate/haven't skated before, as teaching and/or assistance will be provided by yours truely! If your not able to get there at 18.00 but still want to come for the 18.45 you will need to get in contact with me via email (imaga...@hotmail.com) or telephone (07806565375) to give me your £10.50 in advance.
Directions: Somerset House is just off the Strand, from the Aldwych. It's next to Kings College London and opposite the London School of Economics. We are meeting at the north entrance where the ice skating ticket office is. Come through the entrance and I'll be waiting for everyone there. *If it rains too heavily Somerset House close the rink and even if they do ice-skating is no fun, therefore if it hammering down on Thursday or due to hammer down, I will cancel this session and notify everyone via email - so if you want to come make sure you check your email around Thursday lunchtime!
DAY WALK: I am planning a day walk for this Saturday 28th November. If the weather forecast looks good on Wedneday I will email further details, if not, I will confirm this has been cancelled. Again, keep your eyes peeled on your email!
