New issue 214 by isatis39871: Unicodes chars are not all printed in column
mode
http://code.google.com/p/ulipad/issues/detail?id=214

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open an UTF-8 file
2. Write 3 lines and set the column mode
3. Start writing ASCII chars then something more exotic.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected :

Line éééééeeeeééééeeee
Line éééééeeeeééééeeee
Line éééééeeeeééééeeee

Got :

Line éééééeeeeééééeeee
Line eeee eeee
Line eeee eeee

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I am using UliPad 4.0 on Ubuntu 9.10, the OS encoding is UTF-8.

Please provide any additional information below.

Multicolum works on Gedit on the same system. It's written in Python too,
but with pyGTK. Don't know how useful this info is.
