Maybe it conflicts with youdao, and you can change DDE port from 50000 to
other value, the doc you can see config.ini(Press F1)

I set DDE to 50001, and set debug=1. When ulipad fails to start, it shows
in the debug.txt:

11:24:26.353 [ INFO] -- [Mixin] Dealing class [App]
11:24:26.354 [ INFO] -- [Mixin] Mixinning class [App]

Could you please tell me how I can resolve it?
Thanks

I thought the problem maybe the DDE issue, but it seems not the right
answer, but according from above log infos, I can't find the problem. So
are there others infos can help me?

The debug is the only way I know to record some bug information. Are
there still other ways to record why it did not start successfully?

Limodou,

My environment is: Python 2.6.5, wxpython 2.8-msw-unicode, win7

I may need to update Python to 2.7, but I just feel lazy to install all
those accompanying packages like numpy, scipy and so on.

You don't need to change python 2.6 to 2.6, it'll run well too. And do you
use source version? Maybe you can have a try.

I am using source version I can keep it up to date. The problem I report
is for the source version too. When problem happens when starting, it
would only show "begin...(time)", and then the window disappear.
