I haven't good decision, but I know crazy fix:

ulipad/mixins/Import.py
line 603

Sorry, but Ulipad's code has too many duplicated parts. It needs little
refactoring.

I think you may wrong about the duplicated of ulipad, Import.py is not
written by
hands, but it'll be created automatically. But I want to know if the paste
functionality can work correctly? If it does, I think I can change the code
like that.

Ubuntu 9.10. Ulipad with fix comment (Import.py, line 603):

button "Paste" works;
Ctrl+V works;
Menu/Edit/Paste works;
Right Mouse Click + Paste works.

I'm using Ulipad 4.1 and the bug is still there. In addition to paste,
blinking is there when I press Enter at the end of a line. I prefer the
black color scheme so a white blink is very disturbing. I use Ubuntu 11.10.
