A LOVE triangle street stabbing left a couple in hospital fighting for
life yesterday.

A 30-year-old woman attacked her former partner and his new girlfriend
outside a Co-op store.

The man, aged 38, was stabbed in the back and his 27-year-old
girlfriend suffered serious knife wounds to her back, left arm and
shoulder.

A woman was being quizzed by police yesterday on suspicion of attempted
murder.

She was arrested outside the store in Dursley, Glos, shortly after the
Sunday afternoon attack.

Both victims, who live locally, were taken by ambulance to
Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. They are in a serious but stable
condition.
