Hello Daniel and other mailing list subscribers,

I'm currently working on integrating ulatencyd with elementary OS and shipping it with the distro by default. I've expanded its configs to work with Ubuntu- and elementary-specific bits and added configs for some distribution-independent apps too. I'd be thrilled to receive feedback on my changes and make them availalbe to a larger audience, so I made a pull request with my changes: https://github.com/poelzi/ulatencyd/pull/32

Also, I've been looking into tracking active window and raising its priority. I've made a proof-of-concept implementation in BASH before I discovered that ulatencyd supports that. However, ulatencyd seems to be unable to determine active X window after a session change, and since the first X session in boot process is a login screen, window tracking does't work in actual user sessions. Are there any plans on improving X handling?

Thanks in advance!
