Message:
I just began to read the Unity Linux Knowledge Base and noticed a
fair amount of typos. According to the page, it has not been updated
since 1/30/10. I just thought you should know.

Also, I am looking forward to the final release of Unity Linux 2010.

Thanks for your time,

Matt

Can someone please clarify the difference between the intent of our Knowledge Base and our documentation Wiki?

Knowledgebase is where we keep our manuals, as it's nice and easy to create a manual "book" style. So it' easier to read a guide, also translation is made easier and it's nice and easy to download a complete guide as pdf for offline reading. Examples... (remaster guide, packaging guide, livecd guide..)

The wiki will host all the other content, either adding extra infos to the guides or offering configuration guides and other "smaller" items.

so KB for tutorials/howtos/manuals, wiki for general info/tips&tricks/etc...?

"Custom" is NOT mass produced... then it's just a product line.

not quite. KB for the 3 big guides... the wiki should cover the rest.

exceptions include guides like the Synergy Installer (usb installation)

I see... makes sense, since those will be the most important and will probably be downloaded as pdf pretty often in comparison to the others
