Is anyone still working on this? I tried XFCE and I'll admit I like
it. I would love to start a branch with this but haven't the foggiest
idea where to start or what to do for that matter

Just thought... hmm wouldn't it be great if we could give historyb the
link to docmint where he can browse throught the manual.. (creating
your own livecd/branch)?

Gett was working on a preliminary doc for remastering. For a first
draft it looked very complete and informative. I wonder where he is
with that?

2010/1/9 Matthew Dawkins <matt...@gmail.com>:

Sorry, I had a power cut almost for the whole day. Only getting back
online now. I'm trying to finish up the firefox update. Matt made a
good point for an extra section on the paper. I'll post the info on
the mailing list as soon as I have a presentable paper.

Will be looking forward to that, Gett... I'd like to add my 2 cents in there after I give it a once over.  I've put so much into figuring out how to remaster just the way I want that it's almost painful to think back on it. :P But I've gotten a LOT of remaster experience since the days of ".93" so I'd like to offer something (if everything isn't already covered).  I'll wait for you to do what you do first though... I wanna compliment/add to what you put together.

Well if there is anything I can do to help like proofreading or such I will. :)
