Less not clearing its own buffer

Less does not appear to be clearing things out of its own buffer. If I view text file A with less, then view file B, I end up seeing parts of both A and B. Is anybody else seeing this behavior?

I tried but cannot replicate that behavior, less seems to work normally here.
