I'm pretty much freezing Unity KDE 4 for a little while unless there's
any major fixes that need to be done. It should only be a few (2)
weeks or so. I am working on Qt 4.7.0 final and KDE 4.5.2, so nothing
from Synergy KDE 4 will be synced until the packages are finished and
tested for a bit. This is main due to building the packages with Qt
4.7.0 Final there shouldn't be any issues going from 4.7.0 RC 1 which
4.5.1 was built off of to 4.7.0 Final, but just in case. This keeps up
with the normal procedure I have for keeping the newest packages on
Synergy for testing and than copying them to Unity once a few people
at least report their working. I've just been pushing a lot of updates
to Unity from Synergy and wanted to update the community on why they
would be stopping for a short time.

This actually comes at a good time for the Unity repos. Matt and I are currently working on freezing the repo and fracturing off a new repo. Stay tuned ...

Can you guys give me a hard date on the freeze and a date on the
unfreeze? I am still working on some issues with koffice and krita
krashing.. and I want to make sure I can get it done before the freeze
;)

The freeze is happening in two steps. First was the renaming of our current repo from 2009  to current (see announcement on http://unity-linux.org/). After that move is completely finished, we can then do the freeze. I don't know if a hard date for that has been set yet.
