I feel the same way Boris! I think they've migrated to Facebook but I

Don't know what happened to the reply I sent last night so I'll try
again!!

This site still exists though many people are now using the new "UK
Vizlsa Discussion Group" on Facebook &, yes Susie, there is also a
North West Viz Whizz FB group. I believe the move to Facebook was
because of the difficulties many people were having with this site &
because so some forthcoming changes to Google Groups as a whole?

The new Facebook site is, currently, a "secret" group so you have to
be "invited" to join & approved by one of the administrators - this is
to avoid rogue members! If anyone wants to join let me know your
Facebook "name" & I'll pass it on to the administrators...

Hi Nikki - long time no see...how's it going?

As you probably know there are quite a few Vizsla pages on FB. The NW Viz
Whizz group was originally set up for just that but a number of people use
it for posing questions etc etc. There's also one called Vizsla UK which was
originally started by, I think, Kate Adams. The one that seems to be taking
over from the Google Group specifically is UK Vizsla Discussion Group - as I
said, it's a "secret" group which means that only members can see it...hence
the need to be "invited"!! I've just asked you to "be my friend" on FB...if
you're ok with that (!!), I'll add you to the group though it'll still have
to be approved by one of the administrators.

We're still here too! But I personally find Facebook a much faster and more enjoyable way to "chat" and share photos etc and there's so much action over there, I doubt people are duplicating discussions here. But this list is still live for anyone who wants to use it. It has been problematic for some of late though - I don't know how far-reaching that is. A sign of the times that people prefer Facebook's format. And the group there runs under the same name as here, so you can search it out and request to join very easily!

Hi everyone...& particularly those who have asked to be added to the
Facebook UK Vizsla Discussion Group!!

Great news...this group is now a "closed" group (rather than secret) -
this means that you will now be able to find the group easily on
Facebook & ask to be added yourselves (rather than the palaver of
friending someone else in the interim!!). Membership still has to be
approved by one of the admins but that's no different to what had to
happen with this Google group.

Look forward to seeing you all there...& to seeing some photos of your
lovely red boys & girls.

Just tried to find you on FB...would you believe it, there are 2 "Ella
Elizabeth" entries & as I don't think we've ever met in person I wasn't sure
what you look like :)

Now that you've taken the plunge into the FB world (!!!) you should be able
to find the group quite easily - just "search" for "UK Vizsla Discussion
Group" & once on the page you'll be able to add yourself. If that doesn't
work, find & friend me (I think there's only one Juliet Bailiff...my profile

I suspect I'm both Ella Elizabeths as has lots of problems confirming
my account. The one to use will be the one with the tiny weeny picture
of a little viszla curled up asleep.
