Христос воскрес, природа пробуджується після зими, всюди зелене листя. У ці дні Друзі у мирній молитві славили Господа, який посилає духа свого і оновлює обличчя землі (Псалми 103:30), пам'ятаючи про воскресіння Ісуса Христа, розп'ятого за молитви про світ, повний любові та надії, у священні дні, коли євреї святкували звільнення з єгипетського рабства. Українці теж вийшли з російського імперського рабства, але московський фараон не хоче нас відпускати і платить високу ціну за свою жорстокосердність, посилає наступне покоління на смерть на війні - своїми ж руками здійснює десяту кару, вбиває первістків свого народу. Свободу було здобуто не на війні, не насильством, а вірою, готовністю під небесним керівництвом пройти довгий шлях до свободи через пустелю. Але свобода одного племені стала свободою кожної людини та всіх племен лише після того, як Ісус навчив людей заповідям любові до ближнього. Любов Христова рано чи пізно подолає зло війни, і здійсниться пророцтво Ісаї, більше не буде розрізнених племен, всі люди будуть синами і доньками Божими в одній великій родині на спільній планеті та більше не навчатимуться війни (Ісая 2:4).

Christ is risen, nature is awakening after winter, and green leaves are everywhere. In these days, in peaceful worship, Friends praised the Lord, who sends forth His Spirit and renews the face of the Earth (Psalm 104:30), remembering the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He was crucified for his prayers calling for a world full of love and hope during the sacred days when the Hebrews celebrated their liberation from Egyptian slavery. Ukrainians, too, gained independence from Russian imperial slavery, but the Moscow pharaoh does not want to let us go. He pays a high price for his hard-heartedness, sending the next generation to their deaths in war — effectively carrying out the tenth plague with his own hands, killing the firstborn of his people. Freedom was gained not through war or violence, but through faith, a readiness to walk the long path to liberty through the desert following the divine guidance. Yet, the freedom of one tribe became the freedom of every individual and all nations only after Jesus taught the commandments of love to our neighbors. Love of Christ will overcome the evil of war, and the prophecy of Isaiah will be fulfilled: there will no longer be divided tribes; all people will be sons and daughters of God in one great family on a shared planet, and they shall learn war no more (Isaiah 2:4).
