На Міжнародний день донора крові Друзі України подякували всім, хто здає кров, щоб рятувати життя інших. Ми також молилися за мир і за успіх переговорів про вступ України до Європейського Союзу, щоб у нашій мирній державі зміцнювалася демократія, припинилися переслідування сумлінних відмовників, бусифікація і тортури, росла здатність народу до ненасильницького спротиву російській агресії, всім війнам і мілітаризму. Не варто водити за ніс європейців, обіцяючи та імітуючи у вузькому колі бюрократів виконання обіцянки створити альтернативну невійськову службу, тоді як зміни до законодавства досі не узгоджені. Ця служба потрібна перш за все нам самим, щоб м'якою силою правди і любові всенародно домогтися припинення і убезпечитися від повторення навали північної орди. Європа подібна до райського саду, в якому Творець заборонив підходити до дерева беззаконня, і якщо почати куштувати заборонені плоди свавілля та жорстокості, вигнання з раю неминуче, як державу-агресора вигнали з Ради Європи. Друзі молилися за усіх жертв несправедливого суду: і за в'язнів сумління, які постраждали за віру, несумісну із солдатчиною, і за українських полонених, яких російські військові суди (по суддям яких плаче лава підсудних у Нюрнберзі) всупереч Женевським конвенціям прирекли на довгі роки у путінському ГУЛАГу лише за те, що вони прагнули захищати свою країну, як уміли, за один лише факт, що вони є українськими військовослужбовцями, при тому, що держава-агресор не звинувачує їх у будь-яких воєнних злочинах.

On World Blood Donor Day, the Friends of Ukraine thanked everyone who donates blood to save the lives of others. We also prayed for peace and for the success of negotiations regarding Ukraine's accession to the European Union, so that democracy strengthens in our peaceful country, the persecution of conscientious objectors, "busification" (forced mobilization into vans), and torture cease, and for growth of the people's capacity for non-violent resistance to Russian aggression, all wars, and militarism. It is inappropriate to lead Europeans by the nose, promising and simulating within a narrow circle of bureaucrats the fulfillment of the pledge to create alternative non-military service, while amendments to the legislation are still not agreed upon. This service is needed, first and foremost, for ourselves — so that through the soft power of truth and love, we can collectively bring about an end to and safeguard against a repeat of the northern horde's invasion. Europe is like a garden of Eden in which the Creator forbade approaching the tree of lawlessness, and if one begins to taste the forbidden fruits of tyranny and cruelty, expulsion from paradise is inevitable — just as the aggressor state was expelled from the Council of Europe. The Friends prayed for all victims of unjust courts: both for prisoners of conscience who suffered for a faith incompatible with soldiering, and for Ukrainian prisoners of war whom Russian military courts (whose judges rightfully belong in a Nuremberg dock) condemned, contrary to the Geneva Conventions, to long years in Putin's GULAG simply because they sought to defend their country the only way they knew how — for the mere fact that they are Ukrainian servicemen, even though the aggressor state does not accuse them of any war crimes.
