Job Description/Skills Required:
Informix-4GL-ESQL - L2 - ? Total relevant work experience desired, 1
to 2 years. ? Work experience on RDBMS (Relational Database Management
System) concepts. ? Should have been part of team developing or
supporting applications fetching data from Informix database. ? Have
experience investigating data related issues by logging into the
Informix database and using the interactive query tool DBaccess. ?
Work experience on creating medium level of database queries in SQL
(Structured Query Language) ? Worked on a high level programming
language with embedded SQL concepts, preferably C, ESQL/C. ? Have
working knowledge of Informix Rapid Development System and Informix
4GL Interactive Debugger. ? Apart from understanding of HLL
programming constructs, have working understanding of mapping language
specific data types with database data types, declaration of host and
indicator variables and fetching data from the Informix database from
within a program. ? Comfortable working on UNIX or LINUX operating
systems.
