Subject: KSPE Bluegrass Chapter - November Meeting - location update

Fellow Members,

Please join the KSPE Bluegrass Chapter Friday, November 11th in
Lexington, KY to hear our guest speaker Carey Johnson from the
Kentucky Division of Water. Carey will be discussing the Division of
Water Risk MAP and how it builds on flood hazard data and maps
produced during the Flood Map Modernization (Map Mod) program. The
meeting will be held at 12pm (noon) in Room 102 of the Mining and
Minerals Building, located next to the Boone Faculty Center, on the
University of Kentucky Campus. Please go to the following website for

Lunch will be provided and the cost of the event will be $15.

Registration for the meeting should be made via the KSPE Bluegrass
Chapter’s website: http://www.kspebluegrass.org/. Registration will
close at 12pm Wednesday, November 9th. We hope to see you all there!

Message from the Outreach Committee:
November Event
“Our November Outreach Social will be Saturday, November 12th at the
home of Donnie Horn, 3329 Lyon Drive, Lexington. Donnie and his wife
have graciously offered to host us for a Chili Cook-off and UK
Football Watch Party. Kickoff for the game is at 12:21. Come join us
starting at Noon as we cheer on the Cats and judge who serves up the
best bowl of chili! So far we have two chili cooks who are willing to
have their culinary creation judged, we have room for one more cook!
If you aren’t a chili cook please bring a side dish or snack item to
share. KSPE will provide utensils, chips and soft drinks. BYOB.

859-221-5887 to RSVP and sign-up to bring your best batch of chili or
side dish. If you want to be a chili judge let her know that too! We
promise the chili will be good, even if the football isn’t!”
