Hi all,

MarsBalloon is planned to launch (the first of 2 launches this year) from the Mendip hills on 11th June, around 10-11AM BST, expected to head in a southerly direction. Aiming for 30km altitude, expected flight duration of ~2 hours.

We are using a LoRa Flextrak tracker, Mode 1, 434.218MHz, any support tracking would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Tomorrow's launch has been postponed - current landing site is too close to an active RAF base.
Currently planned for Wednesday 12th June, same time/place etc.

Today's launch has been cancelled - flight prediction puts us too close to the coast for comfort.
Weather isn't suitable for another launch attempt this week, so will retry next week.
