Has anyone flown an off-the-shelf commercial LoRaWAN tracker that worked
well for HAB? If so what was it.

If by commercial you mean 'existing PCB' then on our last flight we flew one of these (with some other firmware) with good results:
We did have to wire up a 3xAAA battery pack to it, and a separate GPS antenna since the onboard one seemed a bit flaky.
