Hi all,

To all that are receiving telemetry from Horus Binary 4FSK payloads, please note there have been some recent updates to the software, which include:
- Support for the Horus Binary v2 mode, which adds further telemetry customization.
- Uploading of receiver frequency information to HabHub (so that !dial in IRC works)
- Uploading of telemetry the experimental Sondehub-Amateur database (very much in development - experimenting with data structures at the moment).

For those running Horus-GUI, the latest version (v0.3.4) is available here: https://rfhead.net/horus/horusgui/

For those running HorusDemodLib headless, update instructions are here: https://github.com/projecthorus/horusdemodlib/wiki/1.2--Raspberry-Pi-'Headless'-RX-Guide#6-updating

For those flying payloads using Horus Binary telemetry, I would recommend looking into the RS41ng firmware, which supports the v2 mode. RS41ng also supports gathering sensor data from a BMP280 pressure/temperature/humidity sensor, and will include this data in the 'custom data' section of the v2 telemetry packet.
There's some information on customising the custom-data section here: https://github.com/projecthorus/horusdemodlib/wiki/5-Customising-a-Horus-Binary-v2-Packet

Hi Everyone,

I would like to launch a pico balloon on the Isle of Wight in May.

I would like to LoRa, 437MHz.

Interest me some things below:

- transmitter with all are LoRa modules Heltec, TTGO etc..
- where to register for the public my balloon
- need any official paperwork

Soldering, microcontroller programming, antenna building are not
problems for me.

Thanks to any advice

Tony
