Data format to transmit from the tracker? APRS?

Hi,

I am building and coding my own tracker (pi zero, ublox gps, lora transmitter) and was wondering if anyone had advice on what data to transmit down from the tracker over lora such that other people might receive it? (e.g. the specific data format, message construction, variables etc)

Am I right in thinking its the APRS format?

No, it's typically UKHAS-format ASCII telemetry which looks like

$$PC4L-L,9520,10:42:17,51.10870,3.87176,7141,25,-15.0,4.86,0.00*E2FB
