As some of you are aware I've been looking at buying components for
HABing in bulk to get the prices down and I'm happy to annouce the
online store is open for business.

At the moment we have GPS units, breakouts, GPS antennas and other
bits and bobs that you may find useful for sale.

The web site address is http://ava.upuaut.net/store

IMPORTANT Notes :

1/ When you have decided what you want Click Shopping Cart, click
Apply Discount Code and then enter UKHAS and you will get another 10%
off.
2/ We can take payment by credit card. Select Cash on Delivery
complete your order and then call 01274 555910 and tell them you'd
like to pay over the phone for an order on HAB Supplies.
3/ Fixed Rate Delivery = UPS Next Day.

Savings are considerable you'll save over £4.50 on a GPS Chip and over
£2.00 on the Sarantel Antenna.

Currently we have the GPS Modules and Antennas in stock. I'm still
waiting on the breakout PCBs to be delivered but they will be with us
shortly. Its important to note uBLOX modules are 3.3V chips so you
can't just plug these into a 5V Arduino or PC serial. You will need
some sort of level convertor ( http://www.sparkfun.com/products/8745
). I am designing a breakout with integral level convertor but this is
about a month away.

Overseas Buyers : Sorry I can't knock the VAT off we are making very
little on these anyway once Paypal have taken their cut and having to
sit down with export forms is something we just don't have the time
for. However I can ship it as gift or something.

Remember the best place to get advice on using these components is the
IRC Channel on irc.freenode.org channel #highaltitude.

For balloons, parachutes and other flight hardware please check
http://www.randomengineering.co.uk

Any questions or queries please get me on IRC.

Cheers,

Anthony / Upu

Just for confirmation UPS isn't the only method of delivery, we do
post office as the main delivery option so the costs are quite
reasonable.
