[UKHAS] Balloon Vent Valve

Thought I'd post this for interest -  the first time Ive seen a close up
of the vent valves being used on balloon smuggling cigarettes
from Belarus into Latvia and Poland.

Not  that you can tell a lot other than its probably using grey PVC
plumbing.

Looking at some of the other balloon smuggling photos it seems likely
this type of valve is in common use.

I know nothing about this but I guess they use a GPS or a signal from the ground to vent gas and so descend to ground where the "cargo" can be recovered?
