Anybody want two nanoKenbak-1s for free? I'm downsizing and didn't just want to toss them in the electronic waste disposal pile.
The first one is exactly the one pictured here:
nanoKenbak-1 with serial port and WiFi dongle. That one is fully functional except the clock backup battery soldered on the back is dead, so it always powers up at 12:00AM. It runs the serial-port version of the BCD clock on power-up. The ESP-01 on the dongle is set up for my network access point SSID and password, and I don't recall how to get it back into setup mode so it can be set up on a different network. As mentioned in the prior posting, the dongle draws too much current to be left connected permanently even when the nanoKenbak1 is connected to power, but it's good for a few minutes now and then.
The second one (no serial port) is also fully functional when connected to power, but both the rechargeable battery and the clock backup battery need replacing.
Any takers? I'll mail them plus the dongle. Reply to author with your address.
