When installing the new keyboard layout I was too quick on the keys so I installed the keyboard as current keyboard copy. Can I just repeat the procedure using "current keyboard copy" and just rename it. I guess I will get a current keyboard copy copy and that I just change it like I want it to be?

Hi Cellus,

You need to uninstall the existing copy first, log out of your user account, then back in.
Then it’s safe to open that layout file in Ukelele, change the keyboard name, and install it again.

Do you know how to uninstall a custom keyboard layout?
I think it’s simplest to move it from the <User> / Library / Keyboard Layouts folder back into your work folder.
