Spacebar doesn't work in new keyboard layout

I recently made a new keyboard layout and he spacebar command doesn't work. It highlights in Ukelele but it doesn't do add a space in between words when I use it.

You must give some details:

– did you begin from the scratch, with a new keylayout, or modified an existing one?

– does it behave identically in all apps (please test more)

I started from scratch, and it does not insert a space in ANY applications. I made the keyboard layout in a cipher sequence that designed earlier today. Everything works but the spacebar.

double click on it

in the open window press spacebar once, the cursor will move one space to the right

close and save

it should work

that space is Unicode U+0020
