I've created a customized version of a native keyboard layout (File > New From Current Input Source) and haven't touched the original icon.
I've installed it, and it works fine. (Thanks John and whoever else contributed to Ukelele!)
Only in dark mode, the icon remains black instead of switching to white like it does in the original, native layout.
Anyone knows how to fix that?

Sorry for the delay. Well, the manual says, in the last point on page 10:
  • There is no support for dark mode in macOS 10.14 (Mojave).

This is for Ukelele version 3.3. Maybe it’ll get added in the near future, if you’re a nice boy/girl and John Brownie has some spare time and good luck.

Yes, this will have to wait until Ukelele 4, I'm afraid. One of the libraries used in Ukelele 3 is incompatible with the latest version of Xcode, Apple's development tool, which is in turn required for some of the macOS 10.14 (Mojave) features, including dark mode.

It is so, so easy to ask without reading the basic text of an app you use for the first time. Understandable, others have already done this, so why reading what has been already read by others?
