Holding keys on mac to show accented alternatives

Hi everyone,

on native keyboard layouts Apple is providing, we have an option to hold a key and show alternative accents for the typed letter. Is it possible to do this with Ukelele and how?

See section 5.6 of the manual. It’s tied to language, so it should work if the language you’re targeting has support for press and hold, without anything beyond setting the language.

If you are thinking about a language not supported by the Press and Hold app (see list in Appendix A), it’s not simple or perhaps not possible.
