Dear all,
I’m writing to let you know that as of August, I will be (temporarily) leaving WaterAid to take on a 1-year secondment with WHO. My work will focus to a large extent on carrying forward the WASH and NTDs strategy, so I very much look forward to continuing my involvement with the UK Coalition. However, I will no longer be representing WaterAid on the Coalition or on the Executive Group.
WaterAid is now recruiting to fill my position (https://jobs.wateraid.org/vacancy/senior-policy-analyst--health-and-hygiene-0555/574/description/), and I wish to reassure you that its engagement with the Coalition will continue after my departure. In the meantime, please do let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Yael
Dear Yael,
Thank you for sharing your update. Congratulations on your secondment with WHO! We all know what an incredible asset you will be to WHO in carrying forward the WASH and NTDs strategy over the coming year at such a crucial time. Your contribution to the coalition’s work across public policy and advocacy has been tremendous particularly with regards to the UK Coalition’s recent work on ongoing research on the women and girls agenda and preparations ahead of the WHO NTD Summit. Thank you.
Your contribution and insight will certainly be missed in your direct work with the UK Coalition, however I am sure many of us will continue to enjoy working with you in your role with WHO. I am sure we will all welcome your successor’s contribution to the UK Coalition when that time comes.
Warm regards,
Aparna
