Hi there,

A couple of questions regarding "server mode" in ukb:

1. Any particular reason why the code hardcodes "localhost"?

2. Does the server support multiple concurrent clients?

3. We are thinking of bypassing the ukb client and writing our own
client; the protocol seems simple enough, but are there any gotchas
that we should be aware?

thanks,

no particular reason. It's just that I've never tried connecting to the
ukb server on a remote machine.

no, sorry.

not any gotcha that I'm aware of, but please don't hesitate to ask if
you have any question/problem. Attached to this message there is a perl
module that communicates with the server using the same protocol, in
case you are interested.
