OE is totally crap for newsgroups. It's OK for e-mail, though. However,
I prefer Nutscrape Messenger, which is quite good. Pity you can't have
multiple e-mail accounts....

What's this obsession with having the latest technology? Do people really
worry about these things? I'm genuinely baffled... Surely, as long as the
program fits the purpose of the guy who's using it, what difference does it
make how old it is? I've got a 10 year old fridge but it still keeps the
milk cold and does all the other good 'fridgey stuff' that I need it to do.
As long as it works, I have no inclination to go and replace it with a newer
one just for the hell of it.

and I'm using this old thing (Miggy). And the PC experts still say it's

Fair enough, but my original argument was actually that using Outlook
Express to post to newsgroups was a bad idea, since the way it formats
posts is likely to get you shouted at.

That counts as frivolous use of a fridge. Have you any idea how much
damage all those CFCs are doing? You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
You should leave the fridge plugged in, in your front garden so that
it may be used communally for the common good. The more people who
share a fridge, the less CFCs we have to put up with.
Anyone fancy joining me to blockade Frigidaire's distribution depot?
