that you see that the right-hand lane on the roundabout doesn't feed a
second lane on the 2nd exit, by which time your only recourse to to go
round again (a long detour since the roundabout is a teardrop)- or to
stop and indicate left, and wait till someone lets you in.
Needs a sign "Right lane is ONLY for U-turns" or words to that effect in
advance.
"Fosse Park" and "A563" road markings are only any use if you know which
you want and there aren't cars covering them up. I might have assumed
that Fosse Park was the left turning and the right turning was the A563
if I was a stranger to the area (as I am).
Lane-marking is not a minimalist skill: there are no extra points for
being as terse and unhelpful as possible, to see whether people can
still cope!
