The advantage of these is that in a series of dates they will appear in
correct order whereas 25092022 would not.

2022-09-25 has the advantage that is is more obvious that it is a date
with the year first. If you stick to one or the other format dates
sorted as strings will sort into chronological order (up to the point
where time zones start to matter).
