Quite true. I was just about to reply saying that I thought maybe it was my
nuts that were loose. Everything else has gone slack anyway! Old Derbyshire

"I am" is the shortest English Sentence. "I do" gets you the longest.

Yes, is the short answer. The arthritis and collapsing spine means I'm down
to a few yards walking distance, but I have a mobility scooter and can
drive - and the rest of me is fine. How are you getting on?

Might be late in the day, but for the arthritis try a total avoidance of
potatoes and tomatoes.

Grin. I was experimenting with adding colour to inbound messages with
40tude Dialog so I could find specific ones easily. It worked, but only I
can see them, of course.

I went to Waterstones and asked the saleswoman where the "Self Help"
section was. She said if she told me it would defeat the purpose.

XanaNews does that (and Thunderbird used to but dropped it I think). New
messages in a thread I am following are blue, specific replies to me are
purple, my own posts red etc. and any other user of XanaNews green!

I use Thunderbird for email and RSS feeds, but have gone back to Dialog
because there are so many things the new version of Thunderbird doesn't do
that it used to. A lot of those are because old extensions don't work any
more because the devs keep breaking the extensions by changing the system.
I only went back to Thunderbird because I had an unfixable error in
emClient, but I'm far from happy with it. I've never found an email client
that did everything in a way I really liked. Outlook is the best, but won't
run a Google calendar in two way sync. Mailbird does, but is very limited
and doesn't do RSS feeds or Usenet. I think I am doomed to keep changing
clients every time one of them annoys me more than the others. At my age
that may well not be too long to wait though. <grin>
