Yes, your T68 can be upgrade to a T68m which is the same as the T68i...
Best bet might be to return to where you got the phone from to see about
getting it updated, generally it has to be sent off and can take a couple
of weeks.

You will find people much more helpful here if you bottom post and
trim...
Best bet is to perhaps drop into your local Carphone Warehouse and see if
they can send it off for you...
Close but not quite. The "original" t68 has always been the t68m (even if
it just says "t68" on the casing). A quick look at the back panel (under
the battery) will show you the model number. But it can be upgraded to the
t68i software though. I understand that technically speaking the software
upgrades are slightly different for a t68m that has been upgraded and a t68i
original (only important if you want to reflash your phone to a newer
variant of the t68i software) - but they give you the exact same
functionality.

Phone up sonyericsson support (their number is on the website). They should
be able to tell you the phone number and address of the nearest dealer who
can upgrade your firmware. This can be done for free* and when I had it
done I dropped the phone off and picked it up 24 hours later (i'm sure it
actually only took a few minutes but they must have had plenty of other jobs
on too).
*It might be only free if your phone is within warranty but I'm not sure -
sonyericsson will be able to tell you.
No cigar for me!
Cheers for the correction Simon
If you bring it to one of our service centres (thats CPW) - check
carphonewarehouse.com for locations, we can usually do it on the day if you
bring it early (subject to engineer workload and hardware constraints).
Antz.
Ok cheers guys, will take it to a carphone carphonewarehouse sometime and
sort it
cheers !

And the t68m for the Orange network has an Orange keypad light which is
better than the crummy yellow-green one but not as good as the blue one.
