Hi

Can't work out if this is OT or not, apologies if it is but I think
those who frequent here might be able to answer.

Is it possible to get more than one 2-4-1 code from Orange on the same
phone on the same day? I want to try - so I can see 2 films with
someone (one @ lunchtime and one in the evening) next Weds (but I don't
want to disappoint them if we can only go to one). I'm too tight to try
it just for the hell of it so would like to know beforehand if anyone
has done this.

I presume, having read
http://www.orange.co.uk/entertainment/film/terms.php, that texting
2-4-1 only works on a Wednesday and that you cannot get a code on, say,
Tuesday, go into a cinema and get a ticket for the following day (I
assume this from condition 2).

Many thanks for reading and especial thanks to anyone who replies :o)

regards

Stuart

I seem to recall trying this a while ago and it didn't work. Only one
code per phone per Wednesday.

Only way round this is to have line 2 enabled. I've used 2 OW tickes a
couple of times getting the second code from my line 2 number.

Keep a spare Orange SIM for the purpose of getting free 2 for 1 tickets
every Wed, it works for me ;-)

Or create a fake student card, voila! Some cinemas require a snapfax too....

It works at anytime, but you will only get one code per week.

But more than one spam text per week. Anyone know how to stop that, or
is it a price to pay for this 'generous' offer?

I've never had any spam as a result - what have you had?

Ah, I thought you meant real spam, like reverse charge stuff.

Many thanks everyone - all useful info. Looks like I'll have to
'borrow' a friend's number and get them to forward the text to me ;o)

I didn't realise there was such a definition. Back to my original

How do you manage that? You can't (or couldn't) text outward from Line 2.

Raoul.

back :)

I have no idea, part of the package I suspect.
