Already spent 5 phone calls (all cut off while waiting 45 minutes) ,
£1.25 and quite some sanity listening to "Can you dig it" 300 times.

Is there a best time to call or times not to call?

Never had any problems myself, always am answered within 5 minutes 95% of
the time, though there is one or two times when it takes about 15, but never
had to wait longer than that.

Try about 7am. That usually works for me.

Things have been a bit hectic recently with a lot of things going on and
call volumes have been really high. If its a 191 enquiry (generally
everything but billing) then its open 24 hours so calling after 8:30pm is
probably your best bet. If its a billing question then it would depend on
the service provider.
