Anyone know how to get the Orange/EE answerphone turned off, please?

Tried calling 150 from my Rio II, but a voice said "Unable tp process
your call further".

Customer Services is 150, isn't it?

(I have the OVP tariff)

Try the full number 07973 100 150

But i suspect Orange CS has been taken over by EE CS on a new number?
Try 07953 966250 or freephone 0800 376 2285

Thanks for the numbers, Steve.

I did try 150 again, and (after a long wait in the queue) they finally
turned off my answerphone.
(I want it off as my OVP tariff now charges for access to the
answerphone, whereas previosuly it was free.)

Seems their earlier response was a roundabout way of saying "Please
call during normal office hours"!

I've left my OVP Virgin Voicemail on with an outgoing message
to call my "talk home mobile" number which has free voicemail.

BTW best to ask Orange EE CS to switch off auto voicemail divert
then you can control voicemail with GSM Star Hash codes

If you tell them to just turn off voicemail then they could switch it off
altogether
