Duet is a dual sim phone, and is available from CellularAbroad with a
prepaid sim that includes a UK based number, with free incoming calls in
over 99 countries. It also has an analogue tv and radio tuner. Looks
like something useful for someone who travels frequently.

I saw this originally on the gizmag site at

In article <h2dh3m$rb4$1...@news.net.uni-c.dk>,

What a ripoff!

$200 for a phone that does not even have the GSM850 band used in the USA!
Analog TV tuner that is on the road to extinction!

Check eBay or direct Hong Kong retailers like DealExtreme or Totobay.
There are GAZILLIONS of quad-band dual-sim phones for under US $100 which
don't have unnecessary extras like television and radio tuners.

Phone for travelers?
I thought it was a phone for Gipsy's.
There's a joke here somewhere about Romany onto other networks...

Dealextreme have an amazing range of gadgets, and you can pay by PayPal
usually with international postage chucked in.
