Hi everyone,

I have a Nokia 6310 and I've received an incoming ringtone. However, as far
as I can see, there is no way in the "tone settings" of forwarding (which I
would like to do) or indeed even deleting it.

Can anybody assist me?

Thank you

Correct. This is omitted to prevent you forwarding ringtones to your mates,
thus keeping ringtone companies in business.

change 'deadspam.com' to 'vizzavi.net' to reply
Top-posters will almost certainly be killfiled
People who type in 'text language' will also be killfiled

You can't even delete new ones after you've saved them? Bloody stupid.

There is room for 7 extra tones IIRC, when you try to save the 8th tone you
have to overwrite one. What's the point of deleting one that you don't
want?

Well I thought you might be able to delete a ringtone anyway? It's a
reasonable function isn't it?

The lack of composer and ringtone forwarding though isn't very nice. Oh
well!

I suppose it could be useful, but technically speaking it is pointless.

It's a high-end business phone, ringtones should be the least of your
concerns mate!

People who work hard still have mates they might want to pass on a ringtone
to :-)

(waiting for a 3650 instead)
