HELP! with phillips bt phone saying pin blocked?

Hi, can someone help me... my kids played with my phillips phone which is on
the bt network, i did have a pin lock on it. Now its saying pin blocked. and
i cant ring out....
i have been back to the shop where i purchased it they say it will cost
37.69p to fix the problem. i rang bt who say enter a pin into the phone and
they gave me a phone which didnt work either, then they said that the memory
had gone!!

Is the phone asking for a PUK code? If it is, ring and ask for the PUK
code, and you'll be fine. If its not, then its a new sim card :( It wont
cost £37.96 though, you can pick them up for about £15 in places.

1) Wrong PIN entered 3 times = PUK code required.
2) Wrong PIN entered 10 times = permanently naffed sim card.

Seems to me that you've got option 2 and will need to get your
sim card replaced.
