Have just made my 3210 "SIM free" using the codes supplied by Vodafone.

Now inserting another SIM I'm asked to enter the "security code", I am aware
that this was
originally set to 12345 and don't believe it was ever changed, so I entered
12345 but it appears not to be accepted.

What do I do? Call Nokia?

TIA

How about reinserting the original sim, changing the security code to a
number you're sure of, then swap sims again and input your new, correct,
security code?

Do wot ??

You used to be able to Fax Nokia with your phones IMEI details,
and they would fax back the master security override code for that phone
But Nokia changed their Fax number, and i've no idea what it is now ?

The usual DIY way around it is to use logomanager and a data lead
which will reveal the code

Or take it a club Nokia centre to reset it, but they will charge you

Yeah - load of old dogshit innit. I didn't read the original post properly.
Never mind. Lack of alcohol probably.

D/L NKprofile to go with Logomanager
and you'll also be able to play with the phones profiles too
http://www.ajax.ic24.net/3210/

and eepromtools or Nok1.8 will let you unlock them, or do a full factory reset,
etc
With the same cable
