Just about to cancel my 02 contract and get 2 Virgin contract sims , however
i dont want to loose my number. Do i tell 02 or Virgin first ? Can a number
be stored temporarily waiting transfer or can Virgin claim it from 02 for
me ?
Thanks

You need to phone O2 and ask for a PAC code. You then give the PAC to
Virgin who will initiate the number transfer with O2. Once the
transfer is complete your O2 account will be closed automatically and
you'll receive a final bill.

Make sure you call the bank and stop the Direct Debit as well.

No need to really as any payments requested after the final bill is paid
should be referred to your local Police as fraud.

My guess is he's after the 300+300 liberty sim only deal?
Which is OK as long as T Mobile network is useable in the areas
he intends to use it?

The new Three sim only deals look better to me these days,
but you would need a 3g phone to use one.

I've read stories on the net that a UFO crashed in Roswell and that Elvis works in my local petrol station.
