It would be reliant, surely, on the network you're on supporting MMS. It'd
be free to recieve i suspect, although i also suspect the network you're
roaming on would use any chance to get o2 to charge for accessing GPRS, as
that's how you get MMS messages, through a proxy using GPRS.
In thinking about it, if you read the details of an MMS message, it has an
internal IP class C address (jargon?) so i dont think you could recieve MMS
abroad.
By the way, it's worth mentioning, in some countries you can only recieve
MMS messages if you're both on the same network.
